Analytics

Analytics provide deeper insight detailing participant engagement within your data room.

Audio Recording

Audio recording allows phone calls pertaining to the transaction to be recorded and uploaded to the data room.

Audit Trail

The Audit Trail provides admins an immutable log of all activity in the data room, from log ins and downloads to changes in users, permissions and settings.

Bulk Downloading (Archiving)

Bulk Downloading or Archiving allows you to download multiple files or folders from a Data Room to your personal device as a zip file or you can bulk download the entire Data Room.

Deactivating a Data Room

Deactivating a data room is exactly what it sounds like. By doing so, it no longer grants any users access to the files and/or folders associated with the data room.

Disclaimer

The Disclaimer is added for confidentiality and security purposes to the data room. It must be agreed to by all non-admins prior to entering the data room.

Email Alerts

File Upload Alerts and Deal Digest Alerts are the two types of email alerts that can be pushed to your inbox. These give you updates on file uploads and user analytics respectively so you can stay informed on the happenings of your deal.

Email Uploading

Email uploading allows for users to upload relevant documents for a transaction to the data room directly via email.

File Index

The File Index is the numbering/indexing associated with the files and folders of a data room and provides organization in a data room. This allows for Users to cross-reference files by referencing the index number of the file/folder in the Data Room.

Messaging Users

Messaging enables you to individually or bulk message (via BCC) users in your data room. This feature is often used to resend data room invitations and to provide updates regarding your process or new materials available in the data room.

Quick Filters

Quick Filters is a quick shortcut to locate new and/or important files in the data room.

Pinning Files & Folders

'Pinning' is a feature that allows you to quickly access key files or folders by holding or Pinning into place the file or folder. By assigning it an Index #, Pinning keeps the file or folder in that position in your data room.

Settings

Settings is where admins edit, manage and reference core functionality of the data room, such as its Name, URL, Time Zone, Disclaimer, Watermarks, etc.

SFTP

SFTP enables users to programmatically access the data room via the Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)

Trash

View (and recover) all files and folders deleted from your data room.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two Factor Authentication (2FA) requires ALL users of a data room to enter a verification code to access the data room and is an additional security feature.

View Data Room As (a specific user)

Viewing the data room as a specific user is a way to check what certain users have access to and ensure the correct files and/or folders are being shared with the appropriate parties.

View & Manage Permissions via the Information Panel

Watermarking

Enabling watermarking adds an additional layer of security and confidentiality message to the file(s) when viewing and downloading
