How to Transfer an Existing Data Room
If you currently have all your data in another Data Room, transferring your exiting Data Room to a Finsight Data Room is quick, intuitive, free, and will save thousands of dollars in maintenance fees over the life of your transaction.
There are two ways you can transfer an existing Data Room: Full Service - have us manage the transfer process, or Self-Service - manage the transfer process yourself.
Option 1: Full-Service
- Send an email to our Fanatical 24x7 Support at support@dealvdr.com with the following information: List of Data Room(s) and Current Vendors with a statement authorizing Finsight to coordinate the immediate transfer of your data room(s) on your behalf
- Finsight's Support team will work with the existing vendor to transfer all your files to your Data Room(s) and notify your underwriters.
- Once our Support team has triple checked the transfer, we will invite your team as Administrators to the Data Room.

Option 2: Self-Service
- Create a Data Room and bulk download all the files/folders from the previous Data Room
- Upload the downloaded data to your newly created Data Room.
- Invite the original team using the Add Users functionality.
